I've been using this product line for a few years now and love it:

Perfect Auto Finish

Note that a true wax is not recommended by this company - they sell synthetic paint cleaners and polishes.

Have tried them all over the years: Turtle Wax, Mequiars, etc.
But...

My personal favorite for the last 18 year is Griot's Garage waxes, polishes and clay.
Have to date never gone wrong. I even used their machine waxes on old 28 year old paint, and it did a great job using their orbital.

If I sound like a sales man for Griot's I'm not but I'm sold on their stuff.

I swear by Liquid Glass. You can put it on.....leave it for weeks.....and then take it off. It is more of a polish but works wonderfully. I also use the car wash soap and it keeps the liquid glass looking great.

I used to use Liquid Glass when I first got my GT in 1986. I really liked it but had forgotten about this brand. I seem to recall that back then I couldn't get it in Michigan but would make a run across the border to Canada to get some (along with a stash of good Fireworks which also weren't available ).

Dennis,

Your link runs to Groits, not Griots garage, which looks to be one of those sites that cashes in on misspelling... I'm sure you meant www.griotsgarage.com. Just for the newbies.

DRI WASH n Guard

If you have a car that has a more recent paint job that needs refreshing or even if you have new paint job, or an old oxidized paint that needs a lot of work I recommend DRI WASH n GUARD.

You can use it as a quick detailer, wash, polish etc WITHOUT the need for washing and detailing your car with water. Unless of course you have a build up of mud.

Dri Wash 'n Guard (R) Waterless Car Detailing Products

I've used this on my cars in the past and not had to rewax for water sealing purposes for MONTHS!

Oh yeah I forgot to mention, spray it on, wipe it to a haze and let it stand for a minute or two. Wipe it off with a clean dry towel. That's it!
