Unanswered: Seat Base Reman
I am speaking of the frame that is welded to the floorboard as shown here Seat Frame.jpg I will be making some for my GT and am trying to justify the cost of some tools to make it easier for me. Plus its just as easy to make 10 if I am already making one. I am only making the drivers side for mine but can easily make the passenger side as well. I am making them out of 20g cold rolled mild steel (factory metal I believe) Please let me know if you need any. Thanks.

I dont understand
what would I do with the seat frame? Is this for fitting a custom seat or something?

I can honestly only think of the one reason to need the frames and that is to keep the car relatively stock when you have to replace floor pan parts under the seat. I say relatively stock because, naturally, I can't make the seat frame exactly as an original, but it should be close enough.
