Decide what you would be willing to pay for it, if you needed it for a project and price it accordingly is the best advice I can give you. Is that vague enough for you? Harold |

lol ya pretty vague. these parts are invaluable to ME as the original sheetmetal was cut off when i bought the car. however project is being "put away" into hiding for a few years so reality is who knows if i will ever get to it lol.

Are these unused NOS or parts cut from a previous car? I know a good used trim piece usually goes for around $150, give or take. I am not sure what you mean by 'front valance pan'.. so I can't help you there. Fenders and fender extensions.. once again, I'm not sure what exactly you mean. Are they front or rear? Post up some pictures and that will help with getting some answers.

I paid about $ 650 for an Opel GT front valance a couple of years ago.
It then got dented in shipping and I was able to file a claim for the value which was accepted as $ 650 by UPS. So I think $ 650 is a fair price then and now. But oddly enough, I wouldn't sell mine for that low now! Someone really ought to put metal reproductions into production. It seems like every GT has a rusted/dented belly pan. (I'm too much of a purist to settle for fiberglass!) Jonzo

The fender is as stated the fender, the extention is the section with the curved side marker and lower section of the headlight opening. Hope that helps

Onebadopel,
It's not what your NOS sheetmetal is worth if you sell it, but what it will bring. I've seen stuff, as I'm sure you have, that didn't receive the minimum bid in the first listing but easily exceeded it in the second listing. I bought an NOS Manta center grille for $75 shipping included when it didn't receive the opening bid of $99.99. I thought I was going to pick up the side pieces in separate auctions from a different seller at the same time for even less. ![]() I listed an NOS Kadett Rallye muffler for $125 about two weeks after seeing one sell for $175. Two of the losing bidders went more than $150 and I emailed them to make sure they saw my auction. IIRC none of the bidders of the first auction bid on my auction. A New Zealand list member who wasn't even in on the first auction won the auction for $127. ![]() Harold |

Many years ago I bought an NOS GT bellypan as a template, and got some quotes to stamp out new ones. $25k for the tooling just for the belly pan! I would never have been able to sell enough of them to just break even.

That's always the way it is. I've been seeing rental spaces and commercial buildings for sale at prices that I couldn't imagine two years ago. But I also have less money than two years ago, so it's a wash.

Right now they are bought and paid for and just taking up space. Besides, if you end up deciding to sell the car at some point, just think how much more they will be worth. Especially if the economy does come back. Finding a way to make some money on the side might work out better in the long run.

PHEW! lol. yes fenders are the front, the extensions are small pieces that encapsulate the front marker lights. I was kinda thinking some of the prices i seen in some of the earlier posts, but would only sell if someone bought everything and cash was in my hand! It would have to more than cover a glass frt end for sure! as that would have to be my alternative, after all mine will be a drag car if I finish it lol. Thanks for all the input. It would break my heart to sell the stuff for sure!
