Unanswered: Targa Kit Seals
As some of you know, the last year was used to work around the world.... now, I'm back home, so I 've got time to drive my 'new' Ferrari and to continue the rebuilding of my 1969 Targa GT. I need your help to complete the Targa kit installation. I received this kit from Lenk, but without seals. I tried to find a solution with Gerry Lenk, but without succes, he doesn't have the seals anymore. May I ask you to give me some info's about these seals ? Who has Lenk Targa GT kit? Someone said to me that I can use seals from Porsches... I'm sure it's true, but witch model ? 944 Targa? I really need your help because I want to complete the shell work, but it is not possible without the seals. best regards to all Marc Foyen (Luxembourg)

i think the 912/4 seals would be close to whats needed they are about the same shape or maybe fiat X1/9 , both worth a good look at

IIRC, the seals that were originally used with the Targa kits were Manta A door seals, as those cars use frameless doors. But since Opel discontinued those seals, finding them might be difficult now.

Camaro factory T-top seals will work very well but require minor trimming.

Hi Friends,
I'va just received a lot of information's from Dennis ( Opel GT Source). I want to thank him VERY MUCH because he gave me what I need. The best solution is to use Peugeot 206 CC seals.... I visited a Peugeoy dealer yesterday afternoon, to check it by myself...... It seems to be the best solution..... The only problem is ....THE PRICE ! The fours seals ( front, rear, left and right) cost 1400 EURO!!!!
