Floor pans

I was told that a rusty passenger floor pan in my 72 GT could best be repaired by welding in a new replacement from a VW once cut to size. Cost is only about $30 each. Sounded good to me, but looking at the ones on the net got me thinking about replacing both sides. The driver side one from the VW does not look big enough. I was wondering if anyone has tried getting two passenger side pans and just flipping the driver side one over. Doc

I have heard about the VW pans as well, but their not used very often. I doubt 2 passenger side panels would work..

We have used '66 Mustang pans in the past with good results
