Strange vibration with Left turns

This started on my Dad's 73 GT with in the last few weeks, I have been driving it daily to get back and forth to work (50-60 miles round trip) Last night it started getting alot worse. Every time I make a left turn the drivers front tire? makes a strange vibration, almost like the tire is rubbing agenst the wheel well, the only problem is the tire dosen't come close to touching anything. The car is going into the shop tommorow for the tune up, but I will have to fix it my self soon. Thanks

I would suggest you jack up the left front tire, turn the wheel hard left and then see if you can duplicate the vibes. It could just be your wheel bolts are loose, or the disc bolts. HTH.

Sounds like a bad wheel bearing to me, especially if it has been getting progressively worse.
