Unanswered: Kadett C Steering
If not, any generic parts from Mantas or Chevettes that can transfer across to sharpen mine up a little. It is vague to say the least and not what I am used to in my Mini! |

Dragging up memories of my old '74 Kadett C, the steering was light and very precise, so I'd suggest there maybe an issue with your particular vehicle.
Check the obvious: track rod ends (outer and inner), wheel bearings, ball joints, and steering column bushings. Replacement parts are still readily available in the UK at most good motor factors, not so sure what upgrades are available...maybe one of our UK members will have more info. Bear in mind this is a mostly US based forum, so info on the C Kadett is a little scarce because Opel never sold a "proper" one here, we got an Isuzu-Opel-Buick mongrel instead...

i think you will have to look out for a quick rack from a chevette there are DEALER TEAM VAUXHALL ones and DEALER TEAM OPEL ones (both the same i think ) and have a word with quaffe i think they still do them but i hope you have deep pockets when you get into the dark world of quaffe they can cost a fortune
