Unanswered: DIY alignment
Not sure quite how microscopically-close one could get using their methods, but it certainly would be better than slapping your front suspension back together and then sitting back scratching your head - or, whatever - and wondering "Huh??" At least understanding how the measurements are derived would be useful when talking to the shop of choice. And I know 'da pitchers' featured in the article are worth the proverbial K words, too. I know it's an article I'll reference in the future.

Doing your own alignment on a GT makes a lot of sense. Anyone can set toein. There are only two possible settings for camber and selecting the best of those two settings is easily determined. Caster is a little trickier; however, if the car doesn't pull to one side on flat pavement, the castor is probably acceptable.
