    factory swaybar mounts?

These the factory mounts for the rear sway bar? If so, where does the endlink bolt to the body? The spot with the two holes, underneath the rear "seat"?

Left side has what looks like to be a bushing in there, right side is empty...

    Re: factory swaybar mounts?

Congratulations!!!, You have a very good rear end, yes those are the mounts for the swaybar, and you are correct, the body mounts are the two holes per side under the "seat". That will make your installation a lot easier.

    Re: factory swaybar mounts?

I was hoping that's what they were... wouldn't have been so sure if there hadn't been that bushing in there...

Now I just need to save up the money for the bars themselves, lol...

So no welding is involved in this?

If you use the Addco rear sway bar, it does NOT need welding, you have to drill a hole in the lower spring cup.

FYI: See the pictures of an original sway bar mount from a different Opel (non-GT) rear axle. The exact location and angle of the mounts for the GT axle may vary.

In post #7 you can see them in the pic. there are 2 factory holes in the body on each side with plastic plugs in the holes. All GT's have the rear holes, but none for the front sway bar, you have to drill them yourself.

    Time to replace your bolts.
That nice paint job deserves stainless steel.
