The Manta has a much wider track than the GT which makes the Manta sway bar to wide to swap onto the GT. Keep an eye on Ebay they (the GT sway bars) show up on a regular basis.

alternative sway bars
The rear sway-bar from a Impulse(up to 87) or the Buick Opel by Isuzu will work on the GT.You have to weld the mounts to the rear end the rest bolts up at the stock location on the GT. They are the same dia. as the Manta or even the Adco rear sway-bars. The bends are the same for clearances of the GT rear end as they are all made from the OPEL designed housing.
