tire size

I have 15x8 wheels with 0 offset for my 1970 GT. Anyone have experience with tire size on this setup? Will 225-50-15 present rubbing issues? Maybe 205-50-15? How about when I lower the car? Issues then? Rolled fenders maybe? thank you
