Unanswered: New wheels and tires for me!

I finally got around to getting new wheels and tires for my GT
I got a set of MB Vision wheels from Discount Tires. The wheels are 4x100, 15x7 ET20. Should fit perfectly. For anyone interested, this particular wheel was recently discontinued but there are still some in stores around the country. The guy at my local store was able to look them up in inventory. He even called the guy in Chicago to physically verify them.

I got a set of Yokohama AVIDs on the way as well. I've used these tires on my Saab before and have been very happy with them. They do wear fairly quickly but some of that is due to my driving.

Since I'm getting new wheels, I wanted to guage interest in the old ones.
There's an ad in the for sale section.

set of 4 13" "slot mag" wheels
2 decent 205/60 or 65r13 tires.

Thanks
Chris

Deja Vue!

Chris,
I had what I think are those exact same wheels on my first GT, a '69, back when I was about 21. I think they made the car look fast just sitting there. I even had the same tires!
Sorry for the poor picture quality. The pics are digital copies of old 110 film pictures.

Looks GREAT!!

Now it look like you have room to drop the car by an inch or two.

Yep, I've been checking out the front spring shackle thread and the adjustable panhard bar thread. These are my next two planned projects.

Then of course, I'll need new poly bushings. If I get new poly bushings, I'll need sway bars.... That sounds reasonable, I think the wife will buy it!

I don't believe he would still have them.. since he was saying "Back when I had my GT in 1969.."

jon, I think believe that Wolfspyder wasn't inquiring about Wolfman3002's rims that he had on his GT in 1969 but rather Bendele's rims that he is currently advertising.
