Unanswered: Wheel Stud Thread Size?

but didn't know where else to post this. So here goes:

Does anyone know the lug nut specs for the GT? Are they 12 X 1.25?

Thanks,

Manny

Manny..
SHOULD be 12x 1.25.
I have seen 12x 1.50, but I think they were replacement studs.

YUP, 12 x 1.5 for Opel.

1.25 pitch stuff tends to be newer Japanese stuff (Nissan, Subaru, Honda).

Maybe Nissans, Subaru's and REALLY new Hondas, but my old '88 Prelude and my daughter's 2000 Civic (both with 4x100 mm bolt patterns, same as the Opel) use the M12x1.5 stud thread. Even my wife's 2003 Odyssey and my 2002 Lexus IS300 are M12x1.5. The lug nuts for the Honda are even the correct 60 degree bevel and 19 mm head for the Opel, while the stock Lexus/Toyota lug nuts are 21 mm and "full bore and washered" as the wheels are "hub-centric" rather than "lug-centric".
