Gils price of $2000 for a complete running 2.2 with modern fuel injection is hard to beat! And at $45 hr. labor @12hrs that would totally take care of my needs for less than $3000.00. Besides the 75 fuel injection was one of the first mass produced Opel systems wasn't it? Once again I have an automatic trans. and can use the low end torque, not like I'm bolting a 5 speed up behind it. And maybe someone here could use my 75 fuel rail assembly for a Megassquirt build-up! So how about it, can anyone use a 75 F/I throttle body minus the electronics?

NO WAY did I take it as such. I was just trying to make the point that ANY EFI system, once set up, is DEAD RELIABLE! I agree with later posts to "not give up on what you already have" too soon, is all.
I freely admit to being a "dyed-in-the-wool" tinkerer and fabricator though, so that may have had something to do with it.
