Unanswered: Torque tube support bushing dimensions

Last weekend I noticed my torque tube front support rubber bushings need to be replaced. I mean those cylinder shaped fairly big rubber dampers that are located back from the donut. Mine are in really bad shape so I can't measure how tall those should be.
Unfortunately it starts to look like no company in this country sells these parts, so I'd have to order from Germany or USA. Problem is that in my experience German companies tend sometimes be very slow shipping the parts and I don't have a credit card so transferring money to OGTS is also fairly slow/expensive. I'd rather change broken parts next week, not after some months (okay, this doesn't maybe apply to OGTS but anyway...) Because of this I'd like to investigate if I could find a general rubber support bushing (from local car parts shop) that has dimensions identical enough to the original. Does anyone happen to know or be able to easily measure dimensions? Diameter, height and thread type?

Do a search on this site for torque tube donuts. If my memory serves me right I believe some people have claimed success using an old fan belt that is cut-up and then wedged into place. The proper thread should explain how it is done.

I think he's referring to the actual torque tube mounts, not the donut. I can measure some up tonight.

That's right, the donut seems to be ok but two smaller torque tube mounts are broken (these are OGTS www-catalog part number 7009). Already many thanks to you Bob!

I have both the normal (small) type and the larger 'reinforced' type here to measure from...sorry no photos.

Normal torque tube mounts
It has these part numbers on it:
08937884 - 'grau'
08949335 - 'gelb'
3958147
largest diameter (across hex) - 41 mm
smallest diameter (waisted area of bushing) - 32 mm
mounting length - 42.5 mm
male threads - 10 x 1.5
female threads - 8 x 1.25

Reinforced torque tube mounts
Part number: 8952444
largest diameter (across hex) - 50 mm
smallest diameter (waisted area of bushing) - 43 mm
mounting length - 39 mm
male threads - 10 x 1.5
female threads - 8 x 1.25

Please note that while the reinforced bushing is shorter, it is in fact more difficult to install because it does not compress as easily as the smaller bushing.

Hope this helps!

Bob
