Unanswered: Propeler shaft

Can I get some help removing the 2 "U" bolts at the propeler shaft? they wont come out after removing the nuts holding each of the two U bolts, they stop on the propeler shaft bar. Is there a trick to it? Please help.

Spring!

There is a spring inside the yoke at the front end of the propeller shaft so you have to push the driveshaft forward to compress the spring and allow you enough room to remove the "U" bolts.
