Are there any other pistons that can be used in place of mine from 1973 Opel Gt 1.9L?

265 Chevy from a 57 Bel Aire will work pistons will work, but you have to get the pin re-sized. Rockauto have them for $70 each.

Small block Chevy pistons are designed for engines that run at RPMs which are well below the RPMs Opels are operated at.

If you dont mind a little boring of the block.
These's blanks come to mind.
United Engine and Machine Co.

Granted its not a direct drop in. I only know of one of those and thats the 93mm Opel replacement pistons.
