Answered: Unidentified Seal

I got this seal in my upper gasket set for a 1.9 GT. I can't figure out what it is or where it goes. Any ideas?

That looks like the protector sleeve to put over the top of rhe valve stem when installing the valve stem seals, more like a tool. You dont leave it there.

I was thinking that was what it was for. It seemed to fit the valve stems. I ordered valve seals separately and my machinist installed them. That is why I didn't recognize it. Bud K
