    Rebuilding an engine 1,9 CIH

    Hallo
I have just started to rebuild my GT-engine (1,9). Does anybody knows about any good books about this subject?

First, have a read through these threads:

    http://www.opelgt.com/forums/showthr...omical+Rebuild

    http://www.opelgt.com/forums/showthr...ey+Yunick+book

Even print them out and save them in a folder so you can refer to them.
You can make them 'printable' by clicking on "Thread Tools" then "Show Printable Version".
Gotta save the pictures individually though....

Then get hold of a Factory Service Manual and/or Brookland Books "Opel GT Owners Workshop Manual" - OWM 727 ISBN 1 870642 864 - as it is still in print and available on eBay from time to time - just put "Opel GT Manual" in the EBay search.

    That should get you started!
