Unanswered: Radiator Hose Woes. :(

Anyone here ever dealt with a Kadett A before and the radiator hoses. I believe I have a set from a 1.1 L whereas my car is a 1.1 and the problem I'm having is that the upper hose is a bit short and the lower hose is a bit long AND the radiator necks themselves are smaller measuring 1 1/8 inch inside diameter on the hoses as opposed to the 1.1 hoses 1 3/8 inch diameter. Any suggestions or anyone ever run into this problem before.

Thanks in advance.

Kadett A had 1.0, single 1-barrel "Opel" carb engines whereas the B-series had the 1.1 engines with either single or dual 1-barrel carb setups. Don't think that is your hose "length/ID" problem though. The later 1.1 engines were also used in the GT which had a "tilted" engine mounting and the hoses used were different from the "Kadett" hoses.

Joe I emailed you about the hose. The NOS one is 1-1/8 at the radiator and the part number is molded in the hose. It states in parts books taht it fits 64-67 model kadetts, and if you do not have a heater-plug off the extra hose barb on the molded hose. Part number 1336829
