Unanswered: Opel G.T. carburator

My engine does not run very smooth.
I think the carburator is conk out. I saw some older French Cars, Mercedes , Volkswagen and Fiat cars on our central police wrecking yard. Does somebody knows, if a carburator of the mentioned cars will fit to a Opel G.T. manifold?

Pierre

Do a search here on the site. The best are Webers and there are a couple of versions that will work with the GT.

What type of carb do you currently have? The original Solex are often replaced due to running poorly. The Weber 32/36 is the only true after market carb that I know of, that will pretty much directly bolt up to the Opel's intake manifold. You can find them on eBay quite often for sale, and rebuild kits aren't too expensive. Or you could buy one brand new from Opel GT Source in California. They are kind of pricey but you have a few different choices, and they sell all the necessary items you would need.

Pierre,
You can use any of these models ...direct bolt on to the GT intake manifold... Order from ebay, or any weber retailer from the web. Photo is attached.
