Unanswered: GT air cleaner boot

Where can a guy get a good air cleaner boot for the original air cleaner cannister set up? I want to keep my car original but with a Weber carb. I have yet to receive what I bought from either one of these guys. One of these guy's is definitely a con artist. The other one, I don't know yet
Meanwhile, my car is without this part.

Any help would be appreciated.

BDD;
Some one may have one they'll part with, but, in the meantime, keep a sharp eye out on EBAY and you might be able to nab one there.
Good Luck!

Sorry to hear you got a hoseing, BDD from a member. That's the second one I've heard of since I became a member. I've had good luck so far with people here. Especially calvin, whom I bought a stock motor from this week, which he delivered to my door, no less! Not everyone is out to screw people. If it's not bad form, maybe letting other people know his handle will prevent it from happening again.

I might start a new thread on who cheated me on the air cleaner boot. I'm thinking about it. It does make sense to say who it is just so other people can avoid him. After all he's had months to correct what he's done.

Just got a card from OGTS and they have a new repro air filter boot on sale for $20. Regularly $25.

Opel Web Links

Hey BDD, I'm sorry to hear about your troubles. Not sure if everyone is aware, but there's a Opel Web Links area on the Main Menu with web sites of Opel parts suppliers. If yours is listed here, you can rate and leave comments about them. You can also add a new one if you want. For future reference, it's a good place to check before trying a new supplier.

I just got a repro air cleaner boot from OGTS. Cost me $25 as the sale is now over.

Got here in less than a week & it is very nicely done.

PS: I just got that card in the mail today. When I asked about the sale, they told me it was over. I'll contact OGTS on Monday & ask them why I wasn't given the $20 intro price. I'm sure Gil will do the right thing!

PSS: Emailed OGTS & as expected they fixed the price to $20.
I can't say enough good things about Gil & Dennis. Sale goes through 12/31!

Thanks for the advice and help, everybody. It's good to know that some people have a positive attitude and are not out to scam others.
