Unanswered: header
I have an old exhaust manifold . It was on my Opel GT when I got it from the states 18 years ago. The engine was a CIH 1.9 . It is made of steel (not stainless steel). The narrow tubes measure 38mm (1.5") outside and come together in a pipe with outer diameter 64mm (2.5"). Currently I have an 2.2i engine with a sporty camshaft (good for around 140 hp) in my GT . I use the original 2.2i exhaust manifold and I have a stainless steel exhaust system DIY build. My question. Would this header be suitable for my 2.2i engine? Are the tube diameters big enough as a basis for the current 2.2i? Tips or advice are welcome Geert |
