Unanswered: header

Hello,

I have an old exhaust manifold . It was on my Opel GT when I got it from the states 18 years ago. The engine was a CIH 1.9 .
It is made of steel (not stainless steel).
The narrow tubes measure 38mm (1.5") outside and come together in a pipe with outer diameter 64mm (2.5").

Currently I have an 2.2i engine with a sporty camshaft (good for around 140 hp) in my GT . I use the original 2.2i exhaust manifold and I have a stainless steel exhaust system DIY build.

My question.
Would this header be suitable for my 2.2i engine?
Are the tube diameters big enough as a basis for the current 2.2i?

Tips or advice are welcome

Geert

For best results on the 2.2 tube size should be 1 5/8 inches and the collector should by 2 3/4 inches. The FI manifold with the downpipe modified with slightly larger tubes from the headpipe flange and 2 1/2 from the Y back will work as good or better and will not warp the flange of the header and leak.
