I had been watching this, but didn't win it. The winner got it for $181.38 plus $29 for shipping.

The value on these is going up. Trust me, they are hard to find if you are as cheap as I am!

For that price it would have been cheeper to get a european 2.0 exhaust from OGTS for about $125. And you'll get better side clearance.

EBay.UK

Sure makes the NEW one I bought on UK EBay for 99pence (yep 0.99) look real cheap!
It was a NOS one too - sweated for 10 days incase one of you noticed it too...
Mind you it cost GBP45 to get it shipped here.

Yeah, no kidding! I must admit though, I am hesitant to buy off European eBay until I get my 38DGAS Weber I bought a few weeks back. What a nightmare.

Anyway, good find!

If anyone noticed that same header that sold for $181 + shipping, was one off of ebay a couple years ago by one of our members for pretty much the same price.

the chance for a deal

the chance for a deal does still happen on ebay. I set my upper limit for $110.00 and was lucky enough to pick up my fuel injection manifold for $108.60 (and this was just a few weeks ago).

Then again, I did get stuck with a opel rear sway bar this year that the seller claimed would fit a GT (NOT!)

ebay swaybar

Keith Wilford e-mailed me to let me know of the seller's error in their listing. Keith believes this manta swaybar also fits the Ascona. He suggested mentioning it on this forum. Since I don't own a Manta or Ascona, I haven't even opened the box since it arrived in the mail, it's still sitting beside the suspension, engine and parts to the GT at the front of the garage.

I'll look at it tomorrow and I can send photos or dimensions to anyone interested.
