Unanswered: Lost without a dealer

About 1 1/2 years ago the Opel dealer here closed his doors. What I need is a cost effective way to tune-up and repair my car. I'm sourcing a workshop manual but what equipment/software/special tooling would I need and where can I find it?

Its got about 100,000 miles on it and has given little trouble over the last 8 years. I plan to keep it for at least 2 more. Since its last dealer service 2 years ago I've only changed the oil/filter and one rear wheel cylinder which started to leak (the part was from Daewoo.) I now need to do some repairs to the front calipers (the left has started to leak.)

Thanks a bunch

Brian

Brian,
What type of Opel do you have?
Most of the folks on here have opels that are 25+ years old. There are some folks that are in Europe that may be able to help you out.

Good Luck
