Help needed fine tunning

Just finished a 32/36 Weber rebuild and I am trying to tune up the car (new points,condenser & plugs) ...
While touching around the advanced/retard vacuums, I noticed that if I completely plug the brake booster vacuum line the engine stalls.

If this supposed to happen?

Yes, the brake booster pulls a lot of vacuumn
