Unanswered: MK Fury XII electro ignition.

anybody know how to hook this thing up? has 4 wires, red, white, grey, and green. its a MK Fury XII box. should it be compatable with the pertronix ignitor? i have another box like this by a different manufacturer, bot forget its name. looks like the same basic thing with 4 wires of the same color. only the other has a switch for "CDI" or "standard"

Wow!

That looks like an old Capacitor Discharge unit. Given that Petronix units don't even tolerate high voltage coils I would keep it far away from your present Ignitor!
One pair of wires will probably go from battery -ve to the points the other two wires would go one to each coil terminal - put a set of points back in if you want to try it out .......... You could just "bench test" it with a battery, coil and distributor off the motor and see how big the sparks are that come out of the coil secondary wire that usually goes to the distibutor cap
