When I engage the first gear I get a clunk under the car... think it is the tube, will look at that area in the am. There was a cool moment as I was leaving the house to ride the I-495 beltway around the DC area. A young guy with a 2007 Vett was weaving in and out of traffic to see just what in the heck that car in front of him was. Finally he pulls beside me and tries to sneak a look at the GT. I look at him and he turns back real quick and starts fooling with his sound system. I'm smiling at this guy because he is not aware that 2007 house note of a car is slowly creeping past the red light and into the intersection. No he did not hit that eighteen wheeler, but close. Looks at the GT again, but this time he is PISSED. Anyway hope to see everyone again in Carlisle. PEACE

When I put in my clutch I had a vibration which I thought was the donut. So- donut changed, clutch changed- no leaks- no vibrations and torque up the rear end between 0 and 65 mph. I start hearing the rod knocking above 65 so I guess I know whats next.

Baronbors,
I only hear the knock/clunk when I engage the first and maybe second gear, but there is very little vibration at speed. I do plan to inspect the torque tube and rubber donut later today.
