Clutch cable lengths?

Just to be able to save people from having to go through what Tony (phoenix) and I did last night, I know the various clutch cables are different from model to model, but, other than the part number (which may or may not be visible on the cable) How long are each of the cables supposed to be. This way, if you're in a hurry, or just have a hand full of extra cables around, you can tell, just by measuring overall length as to if you got the proper one.
