Unanswered: clutch disc to flywheel clearance
On inspection of the new parts, I find that the new parts will likely have the same problem once the lining on the disc wears. Any suggestions? Tom |

Noise from Clutch
Are you sure the release bearing is not the source of the noise? and while your in there always change the 'spigot' bearing ( little needle roller bearing in the flywheel)
Any pictures?

Is this the OEM Opel Clutch, and if so, I presume it is the 2.4 clutch? I don't know that clutch, but if it is like the 1.9, then the friction disc has to be "right side up", or else the springs interfere with the pressure plate when released. Have a read at:
