Clutch issue

This is going to sound bad, but which way does the clutch go between the pressure plate and the flywheel? The long shaft on the clutch I have facing in towards the motor. Is this right?

Looked at both a motor and the '73 FSM, the long side of the clutch disk goes toward the motor, just as you have it.
