Check your inport car parts places that have been in business for a while. I was able to pick up a clutch pressure plate and throw out bearing locally for $130. I have also picked up engine bearings locally too so you never know what they have sitting on the self under a butt load of dust....

i have blown the center out of one in my manta, but that was subjected to extremely unusual harsh abuse for thousands of miles. its final doing was backing out of a driveway, and then sliping into 1st gear and dumping the clutch at over 6,000 RPM while still rolling backwards.....it flew apart on the 2nd gear slamshift after that. it had seen all kinds of this stuff for a whole summer, but took out 4 transmissions before the clutch went.

Bit of math here 87 for a larger clutch and 50 in machine work adds up to a bigger clutch for about the same price but dang it's got a softer feel to it and it lasts longer and takes more power.
