Unanswered: Clutch adjustment question

Searched the forums and read several posts on adjusting the clutch on the GT. Went under the car and found the ball nut to be 3/4" from the bellhousing as it should be. The fork is just at 4" from the bellhousing. The car has 64K on the clock and I need to know which way to turn the ball nut to get a little more from the clutch.

You turn the ball nut screw from driver's side to passenger's side to make the fork tip 4 1/4" from the surface where the bell housing meets the block, then lock the ball nut screw in place
