Dextron II
± 2.5 liter = ± 2.5 quarts without torque converter
± 5.0 liter = ± 5.0 quarts with torque converter [only when the torque converter has been taken out]
Hey guys, I'm gonna need to replace the atf in the GT soon, but I need to know how many quarts of atf the tranny can hold. And yes, I did search the forums, but couldnt come up with anything on it. Also, I'm assuming that it will need dexron/mercon because it's a gm car, but correct me if I'm wrong. Any help is appreciated.

Opel Ascona;
driving one is like living on the edge.
Only built from 1970 - 1975
What 2fast4u is trying to say is that if only drop the pan, replace the filter and bolt back up, then you only need the quoted 2.5 quarts.
Keep it Blitzed
i appreciate it guys
