Exclamation Unanswered: 67 Rekord: How to shift?

Hey everyone, i have an opel rekord 1967, i just got it, but my consern is that i dont know how to make the shifts, i mean 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4rd gear i know how but the one to make the car rewind is the one i cant put in if anyone knwos how tell me please!!! i need help.

I'm not familiar with the rekord, but to get into reverse on other Opels, look for a ring on the shifter, just below the shifter knob. Slide it up the shaft and move from Neutral to the left and then up. This is the standard pattern for GT's, Mantas, Ascona's and Kadets
