Answered: GPS mirror with speedo display

I received, for my birthday, a Cheetah GPS mirror, to install in my GT. Since installing the Getrag, the speedo is about 8 mph off. My tires and wheels are the same diameter as the stock GT. My question is about disabling the speedo cable, and capping the port at the tranny. Does anyone know the thread size for the threaded housing on the tranny? I would like to find a way to seal the port, and eliminate the cable. The mirror has a decent lcd display for mph, as well as announcing your approach to red light cameras and other cautions. Thanks for any help.

Why disconnect the speedo, just let it read wrong, at least it looks functional.
Mine is about 5 MPH off for the same reason, I just know when its says 100 I'm really only traveling 95 .
