Unanswered: If you have a lack of power in a Weber
So you have this problem you find out. So what to do. You have to take the top of the carb off. See if the aux venturi will slide out. It might be loose, it might be tight. It might have the tube moved into the carb itself. It has you say. So, you have to turn the carb upside down. You see the slot in the tube and it is not where it is supposed to be. So slide it back with a flat screwdriver. Then you can take the aux venturi out. So you have it out now. you can now be careful and put the end of the aux vent in a vise and stake the edge wher the tube and the aluminum are. Give it a couple whacks. It needs it. Reinstall and enjoy. Proper positioning ![]() Improper positioning

This is what I finally figured out was wrong with my Weber 38. Pointed the tube back the right way and put a drop of LocTite where the tubes mated. Symptom was bad hesitation and stumble at any acceleration point although trundeling along in 1st/2nd gear wasn't bad.
