Which carb do I have?

Have a Gt with 1.9 and the carb needs to be rebuilt. The metal tag on it say Weber 711F FB. Is this enough info or dod I need some more info from it?

I got the same thing searching on a bunch of different search engines. I found one other thread on a 350Z forum that someone picked up a car with the same carburetor, but still no information was given. Possibly post some pictures if possible. That could be very helpful!

? The link I included says it's a 32/36 Weber DGV5A. I believe it. Pictures would confirm it of course. Sounds like the common one used for Opels, Moose, and the perfect carb for your car. Might need a rebuild, but other then a worn shaft, (I've read) they're bullet proof.

Many Webers don't need rebuilding, they just need to be correctly installed in the first place. That means sealing gaskets and other hardware connected to the intake manifold on an Opel, to prevent common vacuum leaks. In addition, ignition timing and other factors need proper adjustment, to get the most out of a Weber. Information is available c/o the downloads (dated June 2006) linked below:

While the above is true and since you're now already here, you don't even really need to go off-site, as it's been discussed here in numerous threads almost from this site's inception!

A simple, quick use of the "Search" feature here using "weber 32/36" will result in pages and pages of results covering anything you may want to know - install, jetting, rebuild, air filters, etc.

It is in fact a Weber 32/36 DGV. The 711F number is a number showing the carburetor being a factory Ford part.
