Unanswered: Carb questions
The question is this. With the Weber 2 bbl carb do both barrels function on idle and low rev, or does one of these act as a secondary? I've never worked on a 2 bbl carb. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Last edited by tekenaar; 04-19-2008 at 07:37 PM. |

I am rather new to this, but as I understand it, on the Weber 32/36, the 32 acts as the primary, and is used for lower speeds and idle, and the 36 is a secondary that is opened for higher speeds with a progressive linkage. The 38 two barrel opens both 38's at the same time. I am sure others that know a lot more about this than I do will chime in.
