Unanswered: DGEV 3236 Weber Carb.
I've begun to read on how and what issues to be concerned with before installing the 32/36. I currently have a heat shield under the Solex. I was planning on purchasing a new one. I also don't have any idea as to what air filter is best for this carburetor. I haven't researched the pros and cons of the various options. Once again, I'd appreciate any advice, tips, tricks, etc. Thank you again, Kappy Last edited by tekenaar; 06-15-2008 at 10:14 PM. Reason: installiong - thought it was instahlin' up there ;-b |

Kappy;
The one that has worked the best for me is "K&N" It's cleanable and reuseable. I don't remember if they still make an exact application for the weber 32/36, as it has been a while, but, you can come close.

It all depends how much room you have. We carry the Redline filter that is 6 3/4" by 4 1/2" and is 2 1/2 " high. They cost $30 and have a KN copy filter element. You could also use an adapter to take the stock filter housing. You have to carve that up, however.
