Unanswered: primary & secondary sizes?

I'm ordering the performance jetting kit from webercarbs.com. They need to know which style idle jets you have. DGV and DGEV carbs came equipped with 2 different style of idle jet. Some have both the Primary and Secondary idle jets of the same physical size and some have a larger Primary idle. I need to know how my carb is equipped to get your the correct parts.I know "all these jets" probably have it in there somewhere, but the mind goes numb reading all the posts.Carb is a year old from OGTS 32/36 dgev.Going I think with tekenaar's jet settings . Will these jet sizes be in this kit & what are my sizes I already have now in my weber. Thanks for any input.

I think it would be best if you pulled the top off your carb, and made a drawing of what size jets you have and where they are, this will help webercarbs.com more than anything else. You have to tune the carb for your driving habits and driving area. What worked for Tekenaar, may not exactly work for you. Not trying to be a PITA, just stating fact.

Tune the carb to your engine. How you do it is up to you.
I'm using a gas analizer to give me the air/fuel ratio.
Most aftermarket carbs are way fat. Theres power to be made by leaning out the mixture...
But its risky .
Start with the main jets then the correction jets idle last IMOA.

Thanks Mr. red neck.I've done aproximatly the same mods as Takenaar but I'm at sea level . Not sure where he is at.Still wondering if the kit would have all the jets I might need. they said there are 6 & they modify the kit to the 1.9 I think.!Hate to admit but this carb stuff confuses the heck out of me.Car runs ok now but sure would like a little more power.A european mechanic said he can do the work but I need to get all the jet sizes I might need first.I'll do some more searching but please keep any advise flowing. My mods are sprint, pertronics, mildly ported intake & of course the 32/36 dgev

He lives in Texas, so I don't think there be any difference ....

I have the same set up as you on my 71 GT. When they talk about 6 jets, they are probably counting them as... Main = 2; Air Corrector = 2; Idle = 2
More than likely you won't need to buy all 6 jets because some of the ones already installed will be the corrrect ones, such as the secondary main and the secondary idle and possibly one of the air correctors.

So you probably only need to buy is a 135 main, maybe an air corrector or 2, depending upon what you have, and maybe a different idle jet..

Gene (aka Mr Red Neck) is right, you really need to remove each of the 6 jets and write down the size and its location, then compare that with the ones Otto suggested and then purchase the single jets you need.

When they say there are different style of idle jets, they are really saying the jet HOLDER is different (larger primary holder OD to allow for alternative ICO solenoid use). The jets themselves are the same. If you haven't you need to go to Weber Carburetors,Carburators,Conversion Kits - Pierce Manifolds Inc.. Click on the word carburetors (second from the top); next click on the 32/36 dgev in the list; then click on exploded views/parts list.... and print out the picture and parts list....

It can be confusing at first that's why you need the exploded picture ...
