Unanswered: To many pipes not enough holes!!!!

I am attempting to replace an unidentified solex with a weber dgev on an 73 opel gt. My big problem is relocating the pipes, with the main issue being the distributor vacuum retard. There is the larger advance pipe tube on the weber and next to it is a blanked EGR tube which is smaller. On my solex the smaller pipe goes to the vacuum retard. I cant see any pipe on the new webr marked for vacuum retard. Please can some who has convertd their car share some light. Also the petrol vent pipe leads from the solex but no fitting on the weber what is the alternative. PLEASE HELP if you can.

Cheers

Rob (with a shiny new Weber still in the box)

PS this was a US car but seems to have had all emissions removed, blanked of etc and is now in Spain
