That really depends. Dual 45 Webers can be tuned to run on a stock 1.9-2.4. The right venturi's with the correct jetting, almost anything is possible. 45's would not be my first choice.

45's are the minimum I would use with a 2.4 CIH engine. 48's would be better, especially if you have higher compression and a hotter cam. But as Deaner said, they can be tuned to work with many applications depending on venturi size and jetting. 36 mm venturis on a completely stock 2.4 will run just fine.

45 Dcoe

Based on a STOCK (i.e. mild) 2.4L motor, try these to get you started:

CHOKE - 36mm
AUX CHOKE - 4.0
MAIN JET - 140
IDLE JET - 50f8
EMULSION TUBE - F2
AIR CORR. JET - 160 to 180
ACCELERATOR PUMP JET - 40 or 45

Anyone chime in if any of these look off, you won't hurt my feelings!

For a more aggresive setup based on 600cc per cylinder (top end power):

CHOKE - 38mm or 40mm
AUX CHOKE - 5.0
MAIN JET - 150 or 155
IDLE JET - 60f8 or 65f8
EMULSION TUBE - F2
AIR CORR. JET - 180 to 200
ACCELERATOR PUMP JET - 45 or 50
