Unanswered: Dellorto DHLA40 N jetting

Hy

I have a pair of Dellorto's DHLA 40's N and want to use them on a 2.0 engine with a free flow exhaust and a 11.1 C.R.

The carbs are jetted as follows
Main jet: 130
Emulsion tubes: 7772.10
Air : 180

Can i use the carbs with this jets or i have to rejet them. If so, what other jets would you recomend me.

Didn't see this before. Here's a good baseline jetting recommendation for your DHLA40s:

34mm chokes
35 accelerator pump jets
140 main jets (richer)
180 air correctors (no change)
7772.10 emulsion tubes (no change)
55 idle jets
standard idle jet holder
7848.3 auxiliary venturi
1.50 needle and seats
15mm float shutoff height
25mm full drop float setting
idle adjustment screws - 4 turns out from lightly seated

Contact Gabrielle's site (Italy) for parts.

Remember too that your modifications affect the jetting. High compression or low compression engine? Stock cam? Stock exhaust? Ported intake? Your altitude is critical too, higher elevations require less fuel to compensate for lower air density.
