Unanswered: Dellorto 45mm Jetting help
I got a pair of 45mm Dellorto carbs that im going to use on my 2,4 engine. But I'm not sure what venturi, main jets, .... I shall use. Its 36mm thats is in the carbs now. I belive its adjusted for 2,0l CIH engine. They are a pair, nr 5351 and nr. 5352. A little about the engine: Its a 2,4, with a street ported 2,4 head. 4-2-1 exaust manifold, 2 1/2" exaust system. I'm not sure about the camshaft yet, but I talked to someone who had used the Piper 285 camshaft, and his 2,4 engine got 151hp and 241Nm at 4500rpm. (same setup as I got, but fuel injection) I want to use Enem I3 camshaft (300/107/12.0). Anyone who can help me with jetting my carbs? |

there can only be a guide given as every engine mod changes so much
im sure rally bob or one of the racers will have an idea but the only way to get the best out of it will be a session on a rolling road so all the rev range can be tested and the jetting done to get the best from it hth
