Unanswered: Sportwagen Specs

I've been searching for a list of the standard equipment found on the '75 Sportwagen, but have been unable to find anything. There is a nice "What Year Is It?" list on the OMC site for the GT and Manta, but not the 1900/Ascona. Is there somewhere I haven't looked?

I'm trying to determine if it had all of the features/changes found on the '75 Manta, and had any Sportwagen-specific gear like a Rallye; tach, gauges, rear axle ratio, etc. I'm trying to not have to buy an old brochure on Ebay. Thanks.

Brian

The 75 Sportwagon was the same as the Rallye in all respects, the only difference being the body. The Sportwagon in 75 came with F.I., bigger brakes, 13 X 5.5 rally wheels, AM/FM radio, the tach, and rally gauges, 4-spd trans and sport steering wheel. Options were automatic trans, roof rack, heated rear window and A/C.

. . . could be wrong, but don't think so . . . only AM in glorious Monophonic officially offered by Opel here. Of course the dealer could put in pretty much anything requested . . .

I've seen plenty of 'Opel' AM/FM radios from my C & R days stripping cars in the '80's. They may certainly have been dealer installed, but they had the GM/Opel markings on them.

Me too, Bob, but offered here specifically for the '75 models and at that time? Don't have a '75 "Extras" brochure, but the '74 still only lists the AM radio.

I may have typed AM/FM out of pure habit, it may have just been AM

Thanks guys. I'm thinking that it might make a good donor car for my Manta project-just about everything I'll need except small bumpers.
