Talking Toadsuck, AR . . .

Yea, but the use of 'recreational' drugs in the '60's explains a lot of it....
And remembering those "very special" times, could that also be the source of Toadsuck, AR then!

Otto,
Now you've gone and crossed the line. No more personal insults...

Actually the name Toadsuck comes from the old days of the river boat. This location was a popular tavern stop on the Arkansas River. It was said the river boat Captains would drink at the Tavern until they swole(spellin' Otto?) up like toads... Hence, the name Toadsuck.... now there's the Toadsuck Lock and Dam, the defunct Toadsuck Ferry and the ever popular Toadsuck Daze, usually held in early May. Heck even Good Morining America has been there to cover it...

Nice green wagon! I saw that on eBay and was tempted, but want to concentrate on what I have right now. I'm glad it went to someone who will give it a good home as it looks like it has great potential!

I didnt miss the 60's, I grew up in them. It was a great time to grow up too. Thanks Gary, neat video.
UH PS: I didnt do any drugs though! Was only around it one time in college. Beer though? Oh yeah. I went to engineering school in Rolla Missouri and it was tied with U of Colorado Boulder for the heaviest drinking school in the nation. In engineering school you studied hard and you drank hard. I think they still do.
