Unanswered: My Ascona 1900 S Luxus - Portugal
After my short apresentation here http://www.opelgt.com/forums/introdu...na-1900-s.html I will do a resume of this car history and a the report of its "screw and nut restoration" during five years. I want also escuse for my poor english language, but I try to do the best that I can. This is a thread that will be running slowly and as I had time to prepare and show the works. I have about 5 CD's of photos that I need select and expose here the principal views, that I presume they will be useful to the other "Asconists". Last edited by tekenaar; 09-24-2008 at 12:25 PM. |

Roger what a beautiful job of getting the work done right. We all wish we could go into the same type of detail work. Here in the US this level of work is too expensive to do unless you do it yourself.
What you have accomplished is to be admired... Great Job... Ron |

This restoration final cost, was quite similar to a new car, of top range (for example a new BMW, serie 3 or 5) . My job in this restoration along five years was the clean of all parts, control of orginality (screw and nuts level) and on the works process... and pay all the bills but the final view of the car was very nice.
