That's a lot of work. Doesn't look like an easy fix. Good luck with it.

Looks like structural type work, serious business, and lots of time.
If everything seems to be going well you have obviously overlooked something.
that's exactly what i had to do, it's a pain but it's worth it!![]()

Some more photos
In the first two you can see the inside, after I removed the outside.
The next two is the new outside piece tack [?] welded

First two photos fully welded top.
Last two photos welds grinded flat.

You can see the shinney piece from the outside piece.
The bad piece taken out, the clamp is to keep the seatbelt fastening point in place.
Because I don't want any overlapping pieces of metal, the new inside piece wil be welded on the bend.

Inside piece tack welded in place.
last photo fully welded and top weld grinded flat.
You can see that I still have to learn how to make a better weld
This took me about 6 hours to make, lucky for me I could get the afternoon and the rest of the week of, so I can repair my car
Tomorrow the floor

You have made a lot of progress in only 1 day. Keep up the good work!
If you were in the U.S., you might be able to find someone to cut an entire floorboard out for you, but finding one and getting it shipped to you would take a lot of time and $.

Gone on with the car, had to weld this in first before I could go on with the floor

Here are some photos of the floor, front side is ready, and the middle and back are tack welded, going to finish that tomorrow, and fit in the piece that is still open.

Hard to tell but it looks like you need a little bit more heat, it appears that you are not getting enough penetration and that the weld material is laying on top of the parent material instead of melting in. When you weld thin material like this with a mig you can't weld a continuous bead you have to put a whole bunch of "tacks" together otherwise with the proper heat setting you will just melt holes in the parent material. Watch the puddle cool after you tack a location and hit it with the next tack just before the red goes away. Always weld back into the spot that you just finished so that you are building a string of little circles as you go. This is very hard to describe I wish I could just show you. Good luck, it looks like you are making progress.

@ markandson:
Thanks for the tip, I have been trying to get the welder set right, but it seems that metal thickness is a difficalt point, at some points I can go with the highest settings in Amp's and material feed with a good weld that has good penetration, and the next spot I have to lower the Amp's and material feed and I still burn holesit's hard to find the right setting
I finished the car today, finished the welding, grinding, primering, bondoing [??], color spray painting and put a layer of under body coating on the outside of the bottom, tomorrow I'll take some photos.
Next project repairing the exhaust of my wifes car [Volvo 340], I think the last piece is hanging by the rubber "O" rings![]()
