Unanswered: Wood grain on Ascona wagon......

I remember seeing a handful with wood graining sides on the road along time ago but wonder if any have survived and if they were factory applied or dealer applied. Could it be had on Ascona 2dr sedans?
'Town and Country' Ascona Wagon.
Also could Kadett wagons?

Mark;
They never did the Ascona sedan, although in Germany they did a bunch of tape kits for the Sedan. Here, they just did the wagons, in fact, our own Charles Goin still has an OEM wood grain kit for a Ascona Wagon.

Here's a picture of an Ascona wagon not only with wood grain sides, but, a vinyl top too (can you say ugly?) The other picture is a Sedan with one of the many stripe kits they used.

My, that wagon is the ugliest Opel I have ever seen, though taste is in the eye of the holder. It looks like a mini hearse. Would have been good in Wayne's World as a stand in for the Pacer.
